Finally some ice.

Hit Greenwood last night till about 5:30. A few calico but they were not turned on by any means. This morning drove up to the Pemmi and found 3" in the thinnest area we fished. Only landed two calico the rest were small to smaller yellows. The place, like most, is loaded with them. Checked Opeachee on the way home, only about 2" and the edges were all broken up. Going to be a week or so before that place is fish-able. Kingston lake still looks iffy so I'd wait a week on that as well. Haven't heard about Canopeas or cobbetts. Imagine they also are borderline safe. Remember to chip as you go this time of year, thickness can change fast.

Sunday going somewhere, still undetermined with the bad outing today. May stay local and land some fish rather than traveling and landing edible fish, lol.

It's all about the catching.
Oh yeah and it was COLD this morning with a stiff wind to boot. Should have brought the portable.....Sunday I will.
