A couple of other members have the new bases also. Matt is a great friend of this site. He has been a supporter here since introducing the jawjacker.

Not a lot of action here so here's a shot from my last outing in the Poconos. The crappie were all in the brush and I lost a couple along with good tungsten jigs before I went with a cheap jig head and the same plastic which was what they wanted anyway.  :? The Bluegill is a tad over 8" btw.

Also this:

One of the jigs lost to the brush:

Fred, I notice you always have a glass of white wine with the fish fry. What do you have with the fish? Mark

chez, my wife agrees as do I. ;) Mark; I usually like something pretty dry; I think that is Liberty Creek Chardonnay. My wife drinks it and it comes in large bottles for cheap. Goes well with fish imo.

They like the meat this year Fred. Caught some nice perch on the other side of the tracks on Monday and then the bite stopped. New spot closer to weed flat. No fishing tomorrow on Naomi. Joe has to work. Mark

The bite seems to change day to day and lake to lake. Trip before I jigged the all the good fish on plastic. Mark, Check your inbox; says it's full.
