Be careful out there everyone, I've heard of a truck going in on Fox Lake and Big Cedar Lake yesterday and today. I'm taking a break. Luckily the cold moves back in tonite. Hope your perm shanties are up out of that water before they freeze in.

On a positive note, Earlier in the season I lost a jiggin rod out on the ice. Then it slushed over and froze in. Well my buddy was out today and found it! He spent an hour chiseling it out, What a guy. So this meltdown was a little in my favor. Now that I got my rod back, Bring on the cold!

Well the Wi. cold temps have definately moved back in. The water that was on top of the ice yesterday is now refreezing. I drove past a lake this morning already and its ice on top. Tomorrow I will be out again. I would be out right now if it wasn't for these dang 40 mph winds we are having. I would be weary of driving out again right away, give it a week of this cold and things should be back to normal. Wear your creepers if you got them. It looks slick out there.
