I added a topic for our members from out west. Just two states to start: Colorado and North Dakota. I asked Perch Tugger to serve as the moderator for this part of our site. If you are from the Wild West or have friends that are, you are encouraged to post some topics in these boards and bring some of your experiences to the table for all of us to enjoy. If you are from another of our western states, or any other state for that matter, and want to see your state represented here send me a PM and we can get it started. thanks

If you build it they will come. We are working on becoming all that! You could make a difference by posting some questions, observations, and your personal experiences here. You may be the first, but you won't be the last. Welcome to the site. We are a growing but not an all encompassing forum yet. I hope you will stop back and let us know how you have done and share your impressions of Wyoming with us.

Thanks. Went up to glendo today, its the closest lake to my house. The main lake is open but some of its bays are iced over. Will prolly be a couple of weeks before I'm on the main lake but I bet I get on one of the bays soon. Any of you guys close to action?

We are looking at about 2 weekends from today if we get lucky. That is only for the more adverntureous of us mind you. You gotta take some pics while your out. I love seeing what different places look like all iced up. Our one members Jerry lives on the edge of the badlands and the landscapes are epic.

I was out on the ice for the first time yesterday the fishing wasn't good as a front was cruising in and was only supposed to give us a dusting up to an inch.  But when it was done there was 4 or more inches of fresh white stuff on the already 3 or 4 we had.  I took some pics but either photobucket or my computer isn't letting me upload them like I used to be able to.  Here is what the ice looked like for thickness.

I will post more when I get things working right again.
