I haven't tried these guys personally but they have a great price and it includes return shipping.

Well I just sent a set of 8" lazer hand auger blades to these guys for a test.  9.95 includes return shipping if they cut it will be a bargain.

I'd like to get mine done but might need them back before 2 weeks,

I liked this piece in their FAQ's
"The Old Man has been doing this since 1966, if it cuts ice, he can sharpen it."

It is good to have a spare pair with you plus the allen wrench need to make a on site switch in necessary. All it takes to ruin a day on the ice is to hit a patch of ice with sand frozen in it or drill down on a rock. lol Laugh but but both have happened to me. I have double and even triple spare blades.

I just got a pretty good deal on a new 5" hand auger at an ebay store last night (less than $50 shipped). I've been getting tired of hauling the big gasser around to drill holes through thick ice for perch fishin. And drilling through lots of ice with an 8" hand auger is not as much fun as I thought it used to be either. I'm looking forward to cutting some smaller holes to pull my pannies through.

Got my Blades back from the guys listed at the top of this post. They are sharp as stttt and cut very well. I'm out of practice with a sharp auger. I was putting all my energy into pushing down on the dull blades to get them to catch some ice. Now they dig right in I have to build my arm back up lol. There was a notice that the price for sharpening is going up $1.00 next season so get them done this year and save big time lol.

Either catch your limit or run out of daylight trying.

They say on their site that they sharpen anything. I would call and ask before I mailed a NILS bit in. I have one too. I'm not looking forward to getting it sharpened. I will probably just buy a new one then ship the old one out for the grind job. The number should be on their site.
