I've fished it half a dozen times over the years. Why?

I’ve been real firm with giving ANY reports of ice fishing early and late season. As many of the members feel the same. We wouldn’t want to mislead anyone into thinking ANY ice that may be left... is safe. Many of us have geared towards open water fishing already.

I'm not expecting to receive this kind of information. The subject matter is very desirable.

In April in our neck of the woods ice is on its way out and some of us older guys don’t like to give reports early or late do to the safety factor getting my tilt wet is one thing risking someone else’s is another ,  my last day was April second one good hard strike my spud went through and that was well over 100 miles north of Eaton , and after that we had hard rain and wind to finish things off ,
