Lily Lake
« on: February 01, 2017, 01:10:53 PM »
Was wondering if anyone has been by or on Lily Lake since the post in the reports area? I usually fish DaChunk or Tusky but thinking more north might be a must for the weekend, looking at Lily, Moon or maybe Lake Jean or others if anyone has suggestions. Thanks

Moon has just enough 4 to 5 inches I just was there walked around the whole lake. soft shore line most places but there are spots to get on it safely. If it was me I would check an area and stay in the bounds. Not for children., imo

I dont fish it enough to know , but are there any trouble spots? weaker ice then the rest of the lake

Down by the over flow were the lake gets shallow and runs out the ice can be sketchy, but I've never ran into and problems there the lake always has froze up really quick and evenly.

a few years ago fished around 50 yds out
from the launch and there was a solid 8 to 10 inches. had a guy come running from the left side back of the lake .  soaked top to bottom said he went through.   never went back that far ever. dont know what eas going on back there
