Has anyone heard of any action at the dam?

Just a guess but I would imagine that the water has come up and that shoreline has expanded. Probably one of the most unsafe spots in the area, among many other Luzerne county lakes. I can't think of one that I would trust at this time and it will take more than this weekend to get them back in to shape imo.

I wouldn't set foot on FEW right now. That water is deep and it would take a long time to find a body down there.
When Hell freezes over, I'll ice fish there too!

I agree...
I stopped by Slocum yesterday.
Milky looking ice.
Big open area by the over flow.
I  agree on more than the weekend to tuffen up the ice.
FEW is a bad spot for sure, right now.

Drove the dam yesterday and shorelines are open and you can see open water at the lehigh side. May tighten up with cold nights coming.
