starting the next generation
« on: January 15, 2017, 01:53:12 PM »
my six year old daughter declared that she wanted to start her ice fishing career this weekend.  this morning we geared up, baited up and headed out.  she lasted about two hours before the cold got to her  (*) , but helped set up on the ice, manned the tip ups and worked to pack it in at the end of the day.  she didn't yet want to pull in a fish lol.  one step at a time, but it's exciting to see her getting into it.  we were rewarded with a nice fat 25 inch pickerel, amongst others.   8)   !<>!
