According to the 2017 Fish Commission Regulations, Lake Jean is Catch and Release for all species.

I thought Lake Jean was drained for repairs. Is it filled again?

The majority of the repairs have been made and it's catch and release for all species.

I read an article saying it will be catch and release for the next 5 years. Not sure when they are stocking or if they already did.

I keep my eye on Lake Jean. It was filled and fishable last April 2016.   Not sure if they ever stocked it. So many times I had intentions of calling or stopping at the office to get info......but procrastination set in. If there is anything in there .............they will keep growin while were waitin ! I will post back as next time I am near I will surely stop. Any body hear anything on Hunter Lake, Sullivan County ?

You said it brother! Been days that's all I would catch is some small pickerel, and I was glad to catch something, not kill them.

That guy is an jerk ^ff.

It really gives all ice fisherman a bad name, especially bragging about it.  Not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Would have been nice if they would have put some structure in that lake when it was empty.over by the swimming side it looked like a flat empty parking lot.
WHO SAID WE CAN'T WALK ON WATER.MUST BE A LAND LOVER.

Some structure was built and put in the lakebed as a project by a Bloom scout troop. Also the remnants of the old tower were placed in the lake.https://www.facebook.com/RickettsGlenStateParkDCNR/photos/a.554096081311757.1073741828.553664111354954/859607784093917/?type=3&theater
Don't know where but shouldn't be too hard to find in the summer.
