As long as it gets cold again after the front pushes through we should be ok. I'm going to try and fish on Sunday in Wayne County weather permitting.  Mark

You need to pick a better set of weather way points. I use Greentown, Ledgedale, Lopez, and Forest city. Helps me keep my sanity.

I keep a site near a local lake and Mt. Pocono bookmarked. Mt. Pocono doesn't look all that; bad wintry mix and rain but only one day with a high of 41 followed by more good ice making weather. We'll likely be screwed in the lower Southeast (as usual) but there should be fishing for many before  &: which beats the heck out of last season! The next few days should seal the deal for some.

Chez, right now they are calling for 39 and wintry mix Sun. with a low of 11. That is for Mt. Pocono which is fairly similar to Tobyhanna. Followed by at least three great days and night for ice making. My main takeaway is the driving will likely suck so I won't be able to go this weekend. 0~ As long as there isn't a heavy snowfall Fri-Sat. the North country should be fine. In fact if it snows rain and sleet saturation would be a best case scenario.

Last night they said snow in the first half of saturday changing to rain, then rain on sunday changing over to snow. I don't think it'll hurt too much, just get out early saturday until it gets too sloppy. Sunday might get a pass from me cuz it's gonna start sloppy.
When Hell freezes over, I'll ice fish there too!
