Flying with vexilar and battery?
« on: February 09, 2016, 08:08:04 PM »
Has anyone flown with their vexilar or similar electronics if so has tsa ever given you trouble about the battery? I'm flying to Wisconsin Friday and don't know if I should put my unit in my check bag and try it or remove the battery and ship it. Any input would be appreciated.

Call them. Batteries shipped via air are required paperwork and pkg because they can explode. I would order one at closet place and pickup when your there than b4 you leave ground ship it back to your house.I believe it requires hazmat paperwork to fly. Call airport and check.
