Crazy weather
« on: January 27, 2016, 06:08:41 PM »

Yesterday 50 degrees, today 45. The next ten highs in the mid 30’s to low 40’s. Unreal. I saw someone on Kingston today. That guy is CRAZY! There was open water the weekend before last.

Today 01/27/2016

01/17/2016 Just skimmed in the dark areas and some open water as well.

This is why it is so important to know how the lake your fishing freezes or be very careful. Imagine if this got 3" of snow cover. I have a feeling the sleds would have been out there running around. Not good.

The ice looked like late March ice today. After a few more days like this I expect to see open water on Kingston lake again. This is going to go down as one of the worst ice fishing seasons.

Not sure where we’re headed this weekend but it certainly wont be local or a big lake.

If you get out be very careful.
I catch fish........It's what I do.....
Experience.....There is no substitute.
So many fish.............so little time.
