Everyone has different needs , I have wore all kinds over 45+years of icing on my own , our sponsors stuff is nice but , micro spikes are my choice , several reasons 1 they don't build up with snow, you can walk normal heal to toe and you can chase flags , easy on and off ,and my bud is on the same pair for 10 years , mine are now 5 years , have only heard of 3 failures And they replaced without question , oh I forgot I'm in them 4-5 days a week 10 hrs a day

+1 kahtoola micro spikes. My only failure was when the rubber melted when I put my feet too close to the heater.  :-[

All I know is Yak Traks Stink.
I went threw 2 pair, evening there is a coating of snow they don't work.they build up with snow.
O also have those KE ice chizels, work great, but at days end the arch of your foot cramps and your feet are sore for days.
I drill self tapping stews in the bottom of my mickys, work well if the snow is lite.
Dead bird and Freddy is right on the money, that's what I'm buying.

I like ArmorAll for my rubber knee highs. Definitely has extended their life.
