Title: Open water gear
Post by: Skammer on January 25, 2007, 02:33:14 PM
Had some spare time today so I took all my open water reels apart, cleaned, greased & oiled them. With the river icing up it looks like the catfishin will be on hold for a while.
Time to ice some gills for the freezer! _i

I am using ABU GARCIA SILICOTE grease. Works good in cold temps. Also using ABU GARCIA reel oil. It is a synthetic & is non toxic, not harmful to humans, animals or fish.
