Was enjoying some breaded blue gill and perch fillets tonight and remembered this was in a Blue gill thread. You can use this for a jump off point and tweak to your liking.

1 cup mayo or Miracle Whip
1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
1 tablespoon minced onion
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
Mix well in a small bowl and let stand in the fridge for at least and hour.

I used a little more relish and Worcestershire than called for. You can also dice up a small dill pickle instead of relish. I liked the fact that it took about five min. to make.  ;)

Just had some gills and crappie yesterday. Try that with some hot dog relish. It has some mustard in it. ;D
