Ice report for first week of 2012

Hey, Anybody know if there is fishable ice north of lewiston. Got to feed the need, burning vac day to take a ride up on the weekend of the 6th.

All the mainer's must be out fishing cause they haven't checked in this year.

I haven't seen any (safe) fishable ice yet! I have searched as far as Dover-Foxcroft..Some reports of 2-3 inches in a cove on Salmon-Mcgrath Pond. Bigger lakes of Belgrade region may be several weeks if at all this year.  :(
