thanksgiving migration stopper

 i couldnt find anyone else to go on thankgiving.i did pretty good even though i had to do all the work.i ended up taking 5 geese,2 drake mallards, 2 blue bills(a drake and hen), and a lone green wing teal hen.(why havent they gone south?)

Do you hunt them with a dog to retrieve?

i have a black lab that is 2.ive been working with bumpers, and other training decices, but wont retrieve ducks and geese.she will retrieve doves from the water, and retieved a pheasant i shot from the water, but swims out to the geese and ducks, noses them and swims back.i just bought a book, and asked a few guys on hnting site im on, and working toward her being a duck dog.
