MATT'S FIRST KING
« on: August 23, 2010, 08:45: PM »
THIS WAS MY SON MATT'S FIRST TRIP TO LAKE ONTARIO FOR SALMON. I HAVEN'T BEEN ON THE LAKE IN 20 YEARS, SO WHEN MY FRIEND INVITED US WE JUMPED ON IT. WE FISHED ALL MORNING WITHOUT A RELEASE.THAT EVENING HE HOOKED UP ON A DIPSY DIVER DRAGGING A GREEN AND WHITE SPIN DOCTOR TRAILED BY A GREEN FLY.
WHEN I CHECKED THE REEL COUNTER IT HAD 316 FEET OF LINE OUT. HE FOUGHT IT FOR OVER 15 MINUTES. MY WIFE JOINED US AND WAS ABLE TO VIDEO THE CATCH. IT WAS QUITE A FAMILY EXPERIENCE !!!  IT WAS 33" LONG AND WEIGHED 19 LBS.  WERE PLANNING ON HEADING BACK THIS WEEKEND. (POSSIBLY A FISH OF THE WEEK PHOTO ?)  LOL    RICH THE TAXIDERMIST

Nice! Is that 9 mile in the background?  Looks like they are getting closer.  I may head up this weekend as well.

Thats awesome, except he needed to throw the Yankee hat in the water. If it was a Mets hat you guys would have hooked up about 10.
