No fish today, but still had fun!

Despite not landing a fish today, still took pictures of our adventures on the river bank.
We gave it a go for about an hour and half but only had one tiny smallie which jumped that threw the hook.
Still got some cool looking pictures of the small cliff we walked on and some cool wild flowers.






And a little rock pile that we added to, to make a nice rock tower.




Enjoying the few and water your step.



And one very cool wild flower.



Hopefully the next time that we get out, Fish On!
But, today was all about, 1st day out of school on summer break and not spending all day in front of the tv and video games.

Great looking river and pics. I never have fished it. Kids love to scramble around on rocks like that. I used to do stuff like that all summer when I was a kid. I love the tilted layers of sedimentary rock, that used to be sea floor millions of years ago.
