My Brother Jim is something of an environmentalist. He takes note of little critters like salamanders and frogs, things that most of us don't particularly notice. He was relating my incidental bait trapping catch of a brook stickleback to Rick Koval a naturalist and unbeknown to me a part of the Pennsylvania Outdoor Life television show team. It was not long before I received an email from Rick asking if I would mind showing him where I caught the sticklebacks. We agreed to meet the following Sunday and after some searching were able to capture two of these fascinating little fishes. Rick mentioned the PA Outdoor Life Show and wondered if I would be willing to do a segment on bait trapping and the sticklebacks in my little crick. Of course I would, and the video that follows is the result of our efforts. Enjoy

This is a great post for newbies like me.  The minnow traps don't come with instructions.
I bought a minnow net.  Can anyone give me some pointers how to use it?
