Salvage those old lures

This is out of a book I have and works well for Bass, Pike and Eyes. If you have any old or beat up stick baits, give it a shot.

I've rigged them up for Black Lake, work great in the heavy weed and through lily pads. Where the weeds top out at about 2' from the surface, you can run them down into and out of the weeds. The northern hammer em as do the LM.

I'm gonna try this.  Not with my old plugs but with new ones that I can make weedless.  good tip!

Yep thats a big downside to a jet FM,anything a river full of weeds and snotgrass,if it gets sucked up there  it can clog up,but the great upside is i can go where props couldnt even dream of going on the river

There are areas that get a heavy mat but still plenty of lake to run. It is roughly the size of the Pack.
