I do use them whether I'm ice fishing or, when (god forbid) a January thaw comes along and renders the ice unsafe for a week or two and I have to fish the Susky in January. Actually I do really well bank fishing in January when It becomes necessary. Jigs and minnows rock

That was pretty neat. Nice job .  Q:  Is it legal to use  native baitfish in any PA waterway?...Are some species restricted from removal or use..such as the stickleback shown...since it is rare, seems odd that a bait collector would be permitted to remove and use such species for bait.
