My state isn't listed but I'm from Dearborn, Michigan, the home town of Henry Ford. Michigan has the best urban fishery on the planet, Lake St. Clair, the Detroit River, & the St. Clair River.  8)

Hey, that is fixed. Sorry for the ommission. Drum up a couple others, of your fellow Michiganites, ( what do you call your selves anyway?) and I will set up a board for you of your own.

I am from Tonawanda, NY and what keeps me in this area are the fisheries. I live 1.5 miles away from the Niagara River, and 3 miles up river is Lake Erie, and on the other side of Niagara Falls the lower Niagara River runs into Lake Ontario. My favorite species is the Smallmouth Bass, which are all over Western NY. So I have 3 of NY's best fisheries all around me. Fishing may not be as good as it was 20 years ago, but there are still fish to be caught.

PS: I found 247 through ULF, they're a great bunch of anglers over there, so I figured if they linked with 247 it must be worth checking out. So far I like what I see. You have a great site over here, with some great info. Thanks for letting me join.

welcome Kick.N.Bass,

Glad you stopped over to check out fishin247, what a great title for a fishing board.  -----

See ya around the boards, btw, I know you like bass fishing, stop down and hook us up with some Largemouth and Smallmouth info down in the Species Topics.  #:)
